The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3 is a high-performance winter tire designed for use on passenger cars and SUVs. It is designed to provide excellent traction and handling in snowy and icy conditions, as well as on wet roads.

The tire features an directional tread pattern that is optimized for wet and dry performance. It has a high silica content in the tread compound to improve traction on wet and slippery surfaces, while also enhancing handling and braking performance. The UltraGrip Performance 3 also incorporates Goodyear's 3D BIS Technology, which uses interlocking block structures to provide improved stability and grip on snow and ice. Additionally, the tire has a V-shaped tread design that helps to channel water and slush away from the contact patch, reducing the risk of hydroplaning.
